Patrick Kilgore was driving an ATV with a passenger in Willow when Kilgore lost control of the vehicle and it overturned, ejecting the two people. Neither of them were wearing protective gear at the time of the collision. Fortunately the passenger was not injured, and Kilgore only suffered moderate injuries. Kilgore was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.

Samantha R. Herndon was driving an SUV on Parks Highway when for unknown reasons her vehicle left the roadway and rolled. Herndon was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Two children were in the car with her during the crash but were apparently unhurt. They were taken to the medical center as well for precautionary reasons.

Veteran Iditarod musher Karin Hendrickson was struck and injured Tuesday night by a driver who left the roadway and crashed into her dog team near Willow, Alaska. Hendrickson was running her team along the Parks Highway when they were struck at about 8 p.m., breaking her back and leg. One of her dogs is missing following the accident.

At around 10:30pm, Taber's truck departed the roadway and rolled over, leaving him ejected from the vehicle. He was in serious condition and had to be airlifted to Anchorage Providence Medical Center.

A 26-year-old Willow woman died in a rollover crash on the Parks Highway early Saturday morning, Alaska State Troopers said. About 1:49 a.m., multiple people called troopers to report the crash, which occurred near mile 195 of the highway. A Cantwell-based trooper responded and found the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, who was identified as Brittany Hyatt of Willow, unresponsive.
