A 29-year-old woman died in a crash on I-75 in Alachua County on Wednesday night.

Megan Marie Wyche was driving northbound on the interstate, just north of Alachua, at a high rate of speed, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.

Witnesses reported she was driving well over 90 mph and in a "reckless manner," according to troopers.

Wyche lost control while making a slight curve, causing her vehicle to abruptly swerve into the grassy shoulder.

Her vehicle overturned several times and struck a fence.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on I-75 near State Road 24. That crash killed a woman, and put a little girl in the hospital with critical injuries.

According to an FHP report, 36-year-old Brooke Koschatzky was driving northbound on I-75 before 8 p.m. when she ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree. She died of her injuries. Seven-year-old Riley Koschatzky was taken to Shand's Pediatrics with critical injuries.

Media checked with the hospital Thursday morning and they still list the little girl in critical condition.
