Bowling Green, KYIt was about 1:00 p.m. when investigators believe that Brenda Lay, 34, was southbound on KY 255 and veered into the northbound lane before correcting back to the right, where her car lost traction and skidded off of the right side of the road. Lay's car then rolled into a creek where it came to rest upside-down. Responders discovered Lay unconcious and face-down in the water, and managed to resuscitate her with CPR, but she is still in critical condition at the hospital.

Bowling Green, KYAccording to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, just after 7 p.m., Robert N. Bishop, 59, was northbound in a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer when it crossed the southbound lane, departed the roadway, hit two brick posts, and finally overturned. Bishop was pronounced dead at the scene.
