Kern was driving a Ford SUV south on U.S. 231 when she for some reason crossed into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Cash. Kern, Cash, and Lampe who was a passenger in Cash's car were all injured and taken to the hospital, though to what extent they were injured is not known. Cash's two children, a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old were also in her car, but sustained only minor injuries. More information will be added as it becomes available.
