A young child riding a bicycle sustained injuries after being hit by a car. The accident occured in Coral Springs around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 21 near Coral Ridge Drive and Royal Park Boulevard. The child was transported to the hospital to treat injuries that were not life-threatening. The driver of the car stayed at the scene.
