Tuesday, March 17, 2015A car driven by Lois Garrett, 79, was traveling south on KY 299 and stopped at the stop sign at the intersetion of KY 80 and KY 299. The driver did not see two motorcycles that were traveling east on KY 80 and started to cross the road, hitting both motorcycles. The driver of the car, and the riders of both motorcycles were taken to a local hospital. Shanna Litchfield, the rider of one of the motorcycles, was pronounced dead at the hospital. No word on the condition of the other people.
