Authorities have reported two people died after running a stop sign at an intersection and running into another vehicle Saturday night. The driver and one of the passengers were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident and the other passenger is in the hospita. Authorities are reporting that none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts. The vehicle that was hit rolled over, but the passengers were not injured. We will update this story as more information becomes available.

One person was killed in a head-on crash in Nampa, Idaho, which happened at around 7:55 p.m. Saturday night on Cherry Lane. Allison Brungardt, 21, was traveling west on Cherry Lane in a Volkswagen Jetta. Hayden Wright, 21, was heading east in a Dodge 1500 pickup. The Volkswagen crossed the center line, hitting the pickup head-on. Wright was taken to St. Alphonsus Health Plaza in Nampa. Brungardt was pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Brian Astle, 20, of Kuna, was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Middleton on Friday night. Astle was traveling north on Emmett Road at around 10:30 p.m., when Astle entered the roundabout at 9th street and lost control of his Dodge pickup. He over-corrected and exited the roadway, where the pickup rolled. Astle was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Seven people were taken to the hospital, including three children, after a two-car wreck in Middleton, Idaho Tuesday night. The accident occured around 6:00 p.m. on October 21 when Christopher Brisco, 32, of Nampa, was driving north on Duff Lane in a box truck when he did not stop at the stop sign. Austin Colton, 29, of Middleton, who was driving an SUV, collided with Brisco in the intersection of Duff Lane and Purple Sage Road. Both vehicles went into a ravine and flipped. Six people were taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Ceter in Boise.

Four people, including one teenaged girl and a baby, were taken to the hospital Wednesday night following a car crash in Nampa, Idaho. The incident occured on Star Road around 9:30 p.m. when the teenage girl, driving her Saturn at high rate of speed, rear-ended a Ford Focus heading the same direction. The vehicles went off opposite sides of the road when the Saturn burst into flame. The girl was able to get out of her vehicle without serious injuries. The occupants of the Ford Focus, two adults and one baby, also escaped serious injury.

A 19-year-old woman was driving on Interstate 84 when a driver nearby made an abrupt lane change, forcing her to slam on her brakes. Her car rolled and she was ejected because she was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver that caused the accident fled the scene. The woman was hospitalized with injuries to the back and a laceration to the head. Authorities are searching for the driver of a dark green 1998 Chevy Prizm with license plate 2C KR837. Anyone with information about the accident or the driver is encouraged to contact the local sheriff's office.
