Charleston, SCAt 8:24 on Tuesday, a dark colored SUV hit a 17-year-old who was riding his skateboard. The SUV was coming from the Berkeley County area on Highway 41 when it hit the victim who was crossing the roadway from Dunes West towards Rivertowne. The SUV continued down Highway 41 towards Highway 17 without stopping. The victim was taken to the hospital.

Charleston, SCPolice are asking the public for their help to find the driver of a dark-colored Dodge Challenger or Charger. The vehicle should have front-end damage and may be missing a headlight. Charleston, SCTwo hit-and-run victims were taken to the hospital with injuries. One of them, Justin Plumlee, later died. Authorities say the driver, Andrew Lanzaro, will be charged with Reckless Homicide today during bond hearing.
