Kittitas County Public Works Department
Kittitas County Public Works has responsibility for the engineering, construction, maintenance and administration of the Kittitas County Road System. This includes all County Roads but none of the State Routes or the Incorporated City Streets.
Klickitat County Sheriff's Office
The Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office employs 40 dedicated professionals working in three different divisions, serving more than 20,500 residents over 18,000 square miles.
Klickitat County Public Records Requests
Klickitat County government is organized into separate departments and offices of independently elected officials and department heads. Each department and office is a "local agency" responsible for its own records under the definition found in RCW 42.176.220(1). There is no central office with access and responsibility to maintain and control all records. You can make any request you have for public records by writing to the specific office department head involved. The request should identify the particular record desired with enough specificity so it can be located. Individual county departments may have specific public record request forms available. Copies of the records shall be made at the costs indicated in KCC 1.36.40.
Klickitat County Jail
All Klickitat County Corrections Officers attend the month-long Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission Corrections Academy. Officers receive additional training in duty firearms, oleoresin capsaicin spray (O.C.), Taser X26, defensive tactics, bloodborne pathogens and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Klickitat County Prosecutor
In criminal matters, the Klickitat County Prosecutor represent the interests of the people of the State by ensuring that offenders within the county are timely charged with crimes that accurately reflect the offending conduct, and further, by taking all steps necessary to ensure that the conduct is appropriately punished. They prosecute cases in the Superior Court located in Goldendale, and the two District Courts located in Goldendale and White Salmon. They determine what charge to file, when and where to file it, how best to obtain a conviction, and they recommend a punishment if the offender is convicted. In their civil division, they act as the law firm representing the County and its agencies.
Klickitat County District Court
District Courts have jurisdiction to hear violations of all misdemeanors or gross misdemeanors and violations of city ordinances. Crimes or violations committed within the county can result in fines of up to $5,000 and up to one year in jail. Examples include Assault- Domestic Violence, DUI, Driving While Suspended, and all Fish and Wildlife cases.
Klickitat County Victim and Witness Services
The Victim-Witness Unit of the prosecutor's office assists victims of and witnesses to crimes committed throughout the county. The victim-witness staff will assist them through the criminal justice system attempting to alleviate their many concerns and anxieties.

This mapping system provides access to numerous data layers for Klickitat County including Roads, Parcels, Waterways, Utilities, Various District Boundaries, a Topographic Map, and Aerial Photos.

Lewis County Public Records Requests
Open files may be reviewed by the public at the Clerk's Office on the 2nd floor of the Law & Justice Center. Photocopies of documents are available for $0.50 per page. Certified copies are available for $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page per document. Certified copies must include the entire document.
