The Washington State Patrol says weather was a factor in a fatal two-car accident north of Chelan on Saturday afternoon. A 59-year-old Bridgeport man died when his Dodge Neon crossed the center line on State Route 97 near Wells Dam and hit a southbound pickup. The driver of the pickup, a 60-year-old Manson woman, was not seriously injured.
