King County Crime Victims Assistance Program

It is the mission of the Victim Assistance Unit to provide thoughtful, nonjudgmental outreach and response to the needs of crime victims and witnesses and to ensure the protection of their rights and interests.To support their mission, they have the following goals: To follow statutory requirements so that the rights of victims and witnesses are known and observed; to ensure that all victims have an avenue for participation in their case and are accommodated and made comfortable to the fullest extent possible; and to provide notification to victims of options, case status, services, the restitution process and court practices.

King County Bar Association is focused on improving community access to legal services.

King County Free Legal Assistance

The  King County Bar Association Pro Bono Services department works with volunteer attorneys, paralegals, and law students to provide free legal services to low-income King County residents.

King County Bar Association - Neighborhood Legal Clinics

The purpose of the Neighborhood Legal Clinics program is to offer free, limited legal advice and referrals to King County residents with legal issues who might otherwise have no access to the legal system.
