At around 5:55 a.m. Tuesday morning, an estimated 1,000 galons of fuel were spilled when a tanker truck overturned. This incident occured on Highway 73 near Randolph, Wisconsin in Columbia County. According to witnesses, the driver appeared to have swerved to avoid hitting an animal. The tanker was hauling 8,500 gallons of fuel at the time and had to be pumped before being turned upright. The driver was taken to the hospital. The extent of injury is currently unknown.
