Fairbanks, AKProsecutors have charged a 26-year-old Fairbanks man with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide for a single-vehicle collision that killed his girlfriend early Saturday. The man, Kieran Duffy, and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Amber Evans, were driving in a pickup when the accident happened near 12 Mile Village on the Richardson Highway shortly after midnight. Duffy was traveling southbound on the highway when he lost control of the vehicle and it crossed into the center median and rolled multiple times before ending up in the northbound lanes.
