Fairbanks, AKAccording to Anchorage police, Shad W. Wood was driving on Peger Road before 7:30 a.m. when he rear-ended a taxi cab. He left the scene of that collision and drove onto the Johansen Expressway where he then sideswipped two different vehicles. Investigators say that alcohol and drugs were not involved in these incidents. While no one was seriously hurt these collisions are still under investigation.

Fairbanks, AKTroopers are looking for the driver of a truck that struck and seriously injured a bicyclist on Thursday night, then fled the scene. Two bicyclists were riding on the shoulder of Sheep Creek Road near when a silver or gray truck struck them. One cyclist was seriously injured and remains hospitalized. Anyone with information is asked to call Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks at 907-451-5100.
