A Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school bus with more than two dozen students on board was involved in a collision Wednesday morning. The two-vehicle collision happened around 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of West Clemmonsville Road and Ebert Road. No one was injured. Bus #472 was going south on West Clemmonsville Road when an SUV ran a red traffic light and hit the bus, Winston-Salem police said. The SUV driver was cited for a stop light violation. The bus was carrying 26 students at the time of the collision.

A crash involving two cars and a school bus with children on board slowed traffic on Business 40 west Friday morning. The crash happened around 8 a.m. just west of the Highway 52 interchange. A driver of one of the cars was treated for minor injuries at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, though nobody else was injured. Bus no. 80 was carrying seven students from Diggs-Latham Elementary School at the time of the crash, said officials from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

About 20 students were taken to the hospital after a school bus was involved in a crash in Winston-Salem Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Murray Road and Becks Church Road. A total of 49 students were on bus 771, which serves Gibson Elementary School, at the time of the crash. Of those, 19 students complained of pain and were taken to Brenner Children's Hospital in the county EMS bus.
