At about 3:45 p.m., Dorothy Sanders, 66, of El Reno, was driving west on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike when the car exited the highway and rolled. Dorothy Sanders and her passenger Robert Sanders, 74, of El Reno, were thrown from the car. Neither person was wearing a seat belt. Dorothy Sanders died at the crash site, and Robert Sanders was transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he is listed in fair condition.

Cary Neal Rogers, a UPS semi-truck driver, was outside of his truck that was parked on the shoulder of the turnpike when a second semi driven by Scott Randall Sims was driving eastbound on the turnpike when for an unknown reason, it veered off the roadway and rear-ended the UPS semi.  Both Rogers and Sims were pronounced dead at the scene. Sims was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck and was ejected from his vehicle.

While Robert Greene died at the scene, Tucker was taken to Oklahoma City Hospital to be treated. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.

A Lindsay man died Friday after a traffic accident in Grady County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., Randal Smith, 61, was driving a pickup eastbound on Grady County 1520, just east of County 2970. The pickup went off the road to the left and struck a water transfer pump.

Smith, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.

A North Texas teen is in intensive care in an Oklahoma hospital after a skydiving accident on Saturday. Makenzie Wethington, 16, of Joshua, fell approximately 3,500 feet to the ground when something went wrong.

"The whole thing that's keeping us going is because she's still alive and really she shouldn't be," said Meagan Wethington,'s Makenzie Wethington's sister.
