Saturday, June 6, 2015An accident soon after 9:16 a.m. of a crash near the intersection of 40th and Adeline streets involved a 60-year-old woman who was driving a 2014 Hyundai west on 40th Street when the car veered into an apartment building. The woman died at the scene due to the extent of her injuries. No one else was hurt.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLAuthorities are on the hunt for a hit-and-run driver that has killed Herbert M. James, 25. The driver of the vehicle that killed James fled the scene. James was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
