Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNA 49-year-old man from Andover, MN was riding a snowmobile at around 2:30 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a turn and left the trail, hitting some trees. First aid was administered until first responders could arrive with a rescue vehicle to transport him to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital. The man was reportedly in stable condition, but is going to be flown to a Level 1 Trauma Center in Minnesota for further treatment. Alcohol and speed are believed to have been involved in the accident. Incident is still under investigation.
