A serious single-vehicle accident resulted in both a car fire and brush fire along Georgia 400 South at the Mansell Road exit (Exit 8) in Alpharetta on Thursday afternoon. The incident, which occurred just before 2:30 p.m., created significant traffic disruption along this major suburban corridor north of Atlanta. The driver, whose identity has not been released, sustained injuries in the crash and was promptly transported to a local hospital by emergency responders.
