Denver, COAn Arvada Police officer was travelling north on Sheridan Boulevard with lights and sirens on, and stopped at an intersection at 72nd Avenue. A teen driver was confused and drove through the green light, hitting the officer. The driver and the officer both sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.

Denver, COA man was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Sheridan Boulevard Saturday evening.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the Denver Police Department tweeted that there had been a car accident involving a vehicle and at pedestrian at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Evans Avenue.
Police said the male victim had been declared dead, and the vehicle that struck him remained on the scene.
