Louisville, KYA Friday morning accident left one man dead and shut down traffic for several hours along Dixie Highway. The incident began with a fistfight between two men who got into a fight outside the Taco Bell on Dixie Highway around 3:45 a.m. Friday morning. A chase ensued, but it did not last long. The Jefferson County Coroner's identified the deceased driver as 44-year-old Joseph Harper, who died at the crash scene. The crash knocked down the street light pole and then the street lights were on the ground in the middle of Dixie Highway.

Louisville, KYJustin Beeler was believed to be chasing a man driving a Chrysler riddled with bullet holes when his vehicle struck a tree. Beeler died in the accident. The other driver was identified as Michael D. Nevins, 43.
