Wednesday, March 26, 2014One person was killed following a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Keokuk County.
Shortly after 2:10 a.m. Thursday, emergency crews responded to the crash located along Highway 149, just north of Sigourney.
According to Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office, Melvin Dean Spoelstra, 44, of New Sharon,was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
