The crash happened at 3:13 p.m. at the intersections of Garfield and Gifford roads. The 47-year-old woman suffered incapacitating injuries in the crash and paramedics sent her to Oberlin Mercy Hospital. She was later flown to MetroHealth Medical Center and her condition is not currently known. A 47-year-old Birmingham woman was driving the other vehicle involved in the crash and suffered non-incapacitating injuries. She was not taken to a hospital. The Oberlin woman, who was driving a 2004 Lexus RX330, was heading northbound on Gifford Road when she went through a stop sign.
