A 30-year-old man was critically injured after being hit by a pickup truck driven by an off-duty San Antonio Police Department officer. The accident occured on the South Side of San Antonio Thursday morning, October 16, when the man, who failed to look either way before crossing the street, stepped into traffic at the 1400 block of Roosevelt. The off-duty officer was found to not be at fault.
