Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLA man has died after a wrong way driver in Sarasota, Florida plowed into a taxi filled with passengers from Acushnet.
James Elias, 51–year-old, was one of four passengers in the taxi.
The other passengers, who are also from Acushnet, were taken to a Sarasota Hospital.
Two are still receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The driver of the car that hit the taxi is facing several charges including a felony for leaving the scene of an accident.

Indianapolis, INThe Anderson Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that occurred late Thursday night.
According to a release from the Anderson Police Department, the crash occurred in the 1400 block of Main Street just before 11:30 p.m.
Police officials say the driver of the 2011 Chevy Cruz was traveling at a high rate of speed the wrong way on Main Street prior to crashing the car into a rail road crossing arm.
