A man has died after a wrong way driver in Sarasota, Florida plowed into a taxi filled with passengers from Acushnet.
James Elias, 51–year-old, was one of four passengers in the taxi.

James Elias, 51–year-old, was one of four passengers in the taxi.
The other passengers, who are also from Acushnet, were taken to a Sarasota Hospital.
Two are still receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The driver of the car that hit the taxi is facing several charges including a felony for leaving the scene of an accident.
