Sunday, February 15, 2015The crash occurred when Spencer Altschuler, 19, was traveling west on State Road 60 when he entered into the eastbound lane to pass other traffic. Altschuler failed to return to his westbound lane before crashing into an eastbound vehicle driven by Ivery Walker, 56, of Miami. Walker's vehicle then crashed into a guardrail and caught fire. Walker was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Walker was the aunt of two children in the car; Armanie Pitts, 4, and Roderick Burke, 6, both of whom sustained critical injuries Altschuler suffered minor injuries.

Wednesday, October 8, 2014A 17-year-old St. Cloud High School student was injured after being hit by a car on his bicycle in St. Cloud, Florida. The incident occured around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning while crossing 13th Street. The student was conscious after the accident, but suffered from lacerations. He was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a precaution. Police say he crossed the intersection without the help of a school crossing guard and was not wearing a helmet. The condition of the student is unknown at this time.
