Sunday, May 3, 2015Kenyada Hornes, 36, of Benton Harbor was traveling southbound on US-31 Sunday morning, when her vehicle exited the roadway and traveled into the median before rolling. Hornes and the back-seat passenger 26-year-old Nickie Thomas, also of Benton Harbor, were both ejected from the vehicle. Thomas was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Hornes was taken to Holland Hospital with critical injuries. Another passenger, 26-year-old Shalisa Porter, of Benton Harbor, was transported to Holland Hospital with serious injuries.

Wednesday, April 15, 2015Sampson was eastbound on State Road at about 11:45pm, when he did not stop at the stop sign at West Randall Street and crashed his vehicle. As he was not wearing a seat belt, he was thrown from the car, and found dead at the scene by police.
