Wednesday, April 8, 2015Latosha Nicole Leathers was driving north on U.S. 71 with two children in the car when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tractor-trailer. All three people were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer, Marla Gayle Pipes, 52, was injured and taken to Mena Regional Health System for treatment.

Thursday, March 26, 2015A father and son were riding two separate ATVs on Polk County Road 81 while on vacation from Huntsville. The boy was driving one of the ATVs when it ran into the back of the vehicle driven by his father. The boy was ejected and died at the scene.
