Tuesday, October 7, 2014Linda Finney-Drew, 55, was hit and killed while walking on East Sanders Street near Martin Luther King Boulevard in Vian about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with her friend, Candy Shade. Elton Darrell Vanzant, 74, was driving west when his vehicle left the roadway and re-entered, hitting Finney-Drew and clipping Shade, before leaving the scene. Finney-Drew was pronounced dead at the scene.
