Wednesday, October 1, 2014A man was killed when his pick-up truck struck a guardrail, left the road and crashed on I-64 at Indian River Road, overturning and ejecting driver Patrick E. Manley. He was transported to Norfolk Sentara Hospital where was pronounced dead.

Richmond-Petersburg, VACarlton was driving on I-64 near Airport Drive at about 5:52am when she for some reason slammed into the guardrail before getting struck by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Joseph Huggins, 65, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but Carlton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
