Evansville, INLisa Walton was driving west on SR 66 when her vehicle went off the right side of the road and she overcorrected, causing the vehicle to skid sideways and hit several trees. Walton was ejected during the accident and found around 50 feet from the vehicle. Authorities believe the accident took place Thursday night, but was not discovered until early in the morning Friday. Walton was taken to Owensboro Health hospital where she died from her injuries.
