The motorcyclist who was killed after a collision with a STA bus ran a red light, according authorities. The collision occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Video from the bus showed the motorcyclist ran the red light on North Foothills Drive. The video also shows that the bus entered the intersection when the light was still yellow.

Police believe that a 34-year-old man was riding a motorcycle north at a high rate of speed, when he failed to negotiate a turn to the east and crashed. The man was injured and taken to the hospital. Check back for updates on the identity of the victim.

Police attempted to pull over a group of four speeding motorcyclists that consisted of Dailey, Scott R. Henry, 34, Ricky W. Jenks, 37, and one other person, but the group did not stop and sped up even further. Eventually Dailey lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle, sustaining critical injuries. Police report that he also showed signs of impairment and faces charges of driving under the influence.

27-year-old William Cody Murphy was killed when his motorcycle and a car collided in the East Broadway Avenue and North Burns Road area of Spokane Valley, WA. The woman driving the car was not seriously injured.

A motorcyclist died after a collision with a truck on state Route 902 at Craig Road just east of Medical Lake on Saturday afternoon. Thomas P. Bacon, 59, of Spokane, was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson west on Route 902. A 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Frank C. Watson, 71, of St. John, Washington, was stopped on Craig Road heading north. Watson pulled out in front of Bacon; Watson will be cited for failure to yield. Watson and passenger Billie J. Watson, 72, were uninjured. Both were wearing seat belts.
