Truck wreck breaks biker's hip in Hamilton crash

SPOKANE, Wash. '€“ The Spokane Police Department is investigating a collision that happened on Wednesday between a pickup truck and a motorcycle. Police said the motorcyclist was northbound on Hamilton and was struck by Pederson as he made a left turn across the northbound lanes. Authorities said a preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of the truck, identified as Jason M. Pederson, 35, was southbound on Hamilton and attempted to turn eastbound onto Augusta. Wednesday, officers responded to a call of a collision at the intersection of Hamilton and Augusta. Officials said initial information indicated that Pederson was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. Dover Dave of the Vietnam Vets Legecy Vets MC was stuck by the truck Wednesday he is in serious condition at secret heart hospital with multiple injuries. There will be a benefit in the near future on his behalf more info to follow.. Thank you for you thoughts and prayers..
