St. Augustine police are investigating a two-car crash on State Road 312 Saturday afternoon that left one person dead and another seriously injured. Investigators say officers responded to a crash on the east side of the State Road 312 bridge over the Intra-coastal Waterway at 5:07 p.m. Police say a driver was driving west toward the bridge when he and lost control of the vehicle and crossed the median, hitting an eastbound vehicle.
