A driver who had a medical emergency crashed into a yard in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday. A witness said a man driving a Honda Accord weaved down the street, hit a fire hydrant and crashed into a yard. The crash occured at approximately noon on Queen City and 9th Street in front of the Alabama Power office. Paramedics sent the driver to the hospital. There is no word yet on his condition, but police said he was conscious when paramedics sent him to the hospital.

Tuscaloosa police report it happened about 11:50 a.m. at the store located at 1401 East Skyland Boulevard, when a Honda Civic struck a Ford Expedition in the store's parking lot, which sent the Civic down an aisle and crashing into the Sam's Club through a roll-up access door. Two people inside the store were struck and transported to a hospital, as well as the driver of the Civic.
