Two sections of eastbound I-94 in have reopened in Van Buren County after they were closed due to wrecks. The first wreck, which involved a Greyhound-operated bus and several other vehicles, occurred Thursday morning around 10:30 a.m. just east of Hartford near the 47 mile marker, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. I-94 backed up near Hartford due to a multiple-vehicle wreck. (Feb. 27, 2014) However, shortly after the highway shut down near the wreck, officials lengthened the closure, blocking the eastbound lanes at M-140, which is the Watervliet exit.
