Dozens of people were injured when a Southern California commuter train slammed into a pickup truck that was parked on the tracks and derailed at 5th Street and Rice Avenue  in Oxnard. The pickup caught on fire, and four of Metrolink's Ventura County Line Train 102 cars derailed and toppled over shortly before 6 a.m. According to a Metrolink spokesman, at least 30 people, including the train's engineer, were injured. The truck driver fled the scene but was caught by authorities and taken into custody.
