Tri-Cities, TN-VAPolice are investigating a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a Washington County Sheriff's Office vehicle.
A Virginia State Police spokesman says 37-year-old Dennis D. Ford of Bristol was killed when his motorcycle crossed the center line while coming through a sharp curve and collided with a marked sheriff's office SUV.
Geller says the motorcycle spun out on its side and slid backward into the SUV.
The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on Route 665 near the intersection of Route 911.
