Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXAt least 10 vehicles and an 18-wheeler were involved in a wreck on I-30 near South Barry Avenue on Monday morning. Authorities were attending to the scene of a wreck when an 18-wheeler crested a hill, slamming on its brakes and causing a chain reaction. No injuries have yet been reported. Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXA chain-reaction crash over a North Texas lake involving as many as 15 vehicles is expected to keep Interstate 30 over Lake Ray Hubbard closed well into Friday afternoon.
Texas Department of Transportation officials said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash on the I-30 bridge over the lake, prompting the closure of both directions of the highway at Dalrock Road.
Police reports indicate 23-year-old Christopher Anthony Sosa was charged with intoxication assault for his involvement in the crash.
