At about 3 p.m. Des Moines police responded to a two-vehicle collision in the intersection of South 240th Street and 20th Avenue South.Investigators said the vehicle that caused the crash was travelling southbound at a high rate of speed on 20th Avenue South, ran a stop sign and struck the other vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on South 240th Street.
