A grandmother was killed and her two young grandchildren were hospitalized after they were struck by a car as she pushed them across the street in a stroller in Sunrise on Christmas night. The incident happened as the woman was crossing Pine Island Road at Sunset Strip, a Sunrise Police spokesman said. One of the children was taken to Broward Health Medical Center by air rescue and the grandmother and other child were taken by an ambulance, police said. The grandmother, later identified as 61-year-old Li Fang Dong, died at the hospital.
