Seattle-Tacoma, WAA 5-year-old was critically injured after a car hit a tree overnight in Auburn. The 21-year-old male driver and an 8-year-old girl have non-life threatening injuries. The car was traveling 90 mph when it ran off the road around 2:30 a.m. and hit a tree on Auburn Way South. Emergency crews had to help free the man and boy after they were trapped in the car. Authorities say the girl managed to get out without help. Police are investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident.

Thursday, December 26, 2013A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Santa Rosa Friday evening after allegedly causing a five-car crash that left three people injured, police said Saturday.
Police said the collision occurred around 5:15 p.m., when a Toyota Tacoma speeding down Hoen Avenue toward Yulupa Avenue rear-ended a car stopped at a red light.
The force of the crash caused three more cars stopped at the light to collide, causing major damage to each of the cars and leaving three drivers with minor injuries, police said.
One of the drivers was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Boston, MA7-year-old girl was killed and her mother was seriously injured Tuesday when an out of control sports utility vehicle hit the two on a Dorchester sidewalk, Boston police said.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Olivia Mora, of Concord, N.H., will face charges of motor vehicle homicide and driving under the influence, police said.
The incident happened on Olney Street about 2:15 p.m., as the girl and her mother were walking from the Holland Elementary School, just a block away, according to police.

New York, NYA baby girl was killed in a fiery crash on a Westchester highway Tuesday morning when the vehicle she was in, driven by her father, slammed into a tree, police say.
The 24-year-old father appeared to be speeding alongside another car on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers when he veered from the right lane across two lanes of traffic, went up an embankment and struck the tree shortly before 11:30 a.m., just south of the Jackson Avenue exit, Yonkers and state police said.
