Volunteer Lawyers Project - Nebraska State Bar Association

The Nebraska State Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers Project was created to provide legal assistance to person who cannot afford to hire an attorney, nor can they receive assistance through the federally legal service program in the state. VLP was created in the early 1980, while our method intake and delivery of services has changed over the years, our mission has not. VLP works to ensure that all citizens have access to the legal system. VLP can only succeed with the willingness of volunteers to donate their time and their money.

UNLV-William S. Boyd School of Law

At the William S. Boyd School of Law we are educating ethical and effective lawyers and leaders. We are a young law school – just over 15 years old. And we had the privilege of building this school from the ground up: imagining the ideal, modeling best practices, creating an outstanding curriculum, and assembling our fine faculty. We’ve worked hard to ensure that the ideal we first envisioned has become a reality. Our students are exposed to real-world challenges, professional interactions, and public clinics from the very beginning, and community service is an integral part of their education and experience.
