Maryland State Bar Association

The Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) is a voluntary professional individual membership organization. Although it is voluntary to join, consistently over two-thirds of Maryland’s lawyers (approximately 25,000) and judges do so to be a part of the professional organization.

University of Baltimore - School of Law

University of Baltimore School of Law is located in the heart of Baltimore. It is an integral part of the city’s past and present and will help shape its future. Our graduates preside in courtrooms, boardrooms and conference rooms across the city. The president of our university is a former three-term mayor of Baltimore. Local lawyers and judges teach UB students the value of expanding access to justice. Our clinics provide legal services to vulnerable populations throughout the city. 

The University of Maryland -Francis King Carey School of Law

The University of Maryland School of Law was established in 1816 and began regular instruction in 1824. It is the third-oldest law school in the nation, but its innovative programs make it one of the liveliest and most dynamic today. Maryland Law stands among five other professional schools on the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus. It has taken advantage of this location to become an integral part of the Baltimore-Washington legal and business community.

Maryland State Trial Lawyers - Maryland Association for Justice

The Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. (MAJ) represents over 1,300 trial attorneys throughout the state of Maryland. MAJ advocates for the preservation of the civil justice system, the protection of the rights of consumers and the education and professional development of its members.

Maryland State Patrol - State Police

The Mission of the Maryland State Police is to protect the citizens of the State of Maryland from foreign and domestic security threats, to fight crime, and to promote roadway safety by upholding the laws of the State of Maryland. This will be accomplished through aggressive patrol, investigation, intelligence gathering and interdiction efforts; and by providing leadership and assistance to state and local agencies.

Maryland DOT Department of Transportation

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is an organization comprised of five business units and one Authority. They are: The Secretary's Office, State Highway Administration, Maryland Transit Administration, Motor Vehicle Administration, Maryland Port Administration, Maryland Aviation Administration and the Maryland Transportation Authority. This unique approach provides the state’s leadership with the ability to develop a coordinated and balanced approach to transportation.
