Two people are dead after a head-on collision on Highway 35 about two miles south of Stoddard near Riverview Court in the Town of Bergen, according to Vernon County Sheriff John Spears. Sheriff Spears said a northbound vehicle, driven by 70-year-old Robert M. Williams of Stoddard, went to pass a vehicle in front of him and struck a southbound vehicle, driven by 55-year-old Margaret L. Springborn of rural DeSoto. The crash happened at about 3:20 p.m. Springborn was transported to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse where she was later pronounced dead.

Two adults and a teen were injured in a fiery crash in Richland Center Friday evening, officials said.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department said deputies responded to a report of a three-vehicle crash on Highway 14 west of County Road B at 6:45 p.m.

A Milwaukee man, 40, was killed in a crash Friday afternoon at 60th Street and Villard Avenue. Witnesses told police that a car traveling northbound on North 60th Street at a high rate of speed, didn't stop at the stop signal at Villard Avenue. They said the driver crossed the center lane and struck the center lane light pole. The car then struck the front end of a school bus. The car then flipped over and stopped. Police said the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. No children were on the bus, but the 68-year-old bus driver was injured, police said.

One person is dead and one person sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred Thursday night, April 24th on I-94 near WIS 142 in Kenosha County. I-94 is under construction in this area.

According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, a minivan struck the back of a semi stopped in traffic on I-94 around 10:45 p.m.

The 34-year-old male driver of the minivan, later identified as Bram Dorresteijn, sustained severe head injuries. He was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Medical Center. His condition remains critical.

Two people killed in a Town of Genesee crash Wednesday have been identified. The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said Alixandra Wagner, 23, of Waukesha and Alex Hernandez Banuelos Jr., 23, of Milwaukee, died when their car struck an oncoming vehicle on Sunset Drive east of Highway 83 around 7:30 a.m Police said the preliminary investigation suggests a westbound vehicle may have been travelling too fast and failed to negotiate a curve. That vehicle crossed the center line and struck the eastbound vehicle.

Sheriff's authorities say two people on a motorcycle have died in a collision with a minivan in Portage County. The two people on the motorcycle have been identified as Alexander Reeder, 21, and Katherine Axlen, 20. Both are students at the University of Wisconsin-Steven Point. The crash happened just before 5 p.m. Monday on Highway 66 in the Town of Linwood. Investigators say the minivan failed to yield the right of way and the motorcycle struck the vehicle. The two people on the bike were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday morning in the Racine County town of Waterford.

A passer-by in the 37000 block of Hill Valley Road found the man shortly before 3 a.m., the Racine County Sheriff's Department reported.

The victim was not wearing a helmet, and lifesaving efforts at the scene failed, the Sheriff's Department said.

The man, a resident of the Town of Waterford, has not yet been identified publicly.

Rock County sheriff's deputies are looking for a driver who fled after striking and killing two men on motorcycles.

Authorities say the men were among five motorcyclists traveling on Highway 14 near Janesville Sunday about 8 p.m. A mid-sized SUV, possibly a Nissan, crossed the center line and hit the first two motorcycles, killing 24-year-old Mitchell Vance, of Janesville, and 18-year-old Devin Julius, also of Janesville, formerly of Freedom.

The other three motorcycle riders and another vehicle took evasive action and avoided the crash.

Four people were injured — one with life-threatening injuries — in an Outagamie County traffic crash Sunday afternoon. A 24-year-old Appleton woman was slowing in the eastbound lane of Highway 54 to turn into a driveway when her car was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 17-year-old Seymour boy at 3:30 p.m. Sunday near Black Creek, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Investigators are looking into whether a Baldwin woman whose body was found in a western Wisconsin lake became disoriented after a car crash. The St. Croix (kroy) County sheriff's office was called to the crash around 5 a.m. Sunday in the Town of Hammond. Deputies found no one in the car. Authorities say emergency responders searched the area and found the body of 38-year-old Kristelle Wolle in nearby Pine Lake. Sheriff's Capt. Jeff Klatt stated that Wolle may have walked into the lake after the crash.
