Four people were injured — one with life-threatening injuries — in an Outagamie County traffic crash Sunday afternoon.
Four people were injured — one with life-threatening injuries — in an Outagamie County traffic crash Sunday afternoon. A 24-year-old Appleton woman was slowing in the eastbound lane of Highway 54 to turn into a driveway when her car was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 17-year-old Seymour boy at 3:30 p.m. Sunday near Black Creek, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. The Blazer traveled into the westbound lane of Highway 54 and collided head-on with a van driven by a 63-year-old Weyauwega man. The Weyauwega man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Theda Clark Hospital by helicopter. The drivers of the van and car and a passenger in the Blazer suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
