San Diego, CAThe elderly man killed in a hit-and-run crash in San Ysidro Sunday was identified as Alonso Flores Pacheco, the Medical Examiner’s Office said Monday.
Pacheco, 81, was walking south across East San Ysidro Boulevard when he was struck by a westbound car, San Diego police said Sunday.
Pacheco died at the scene, police said.
The driver fled west from the crash on East San Ysidro Boulevard in a car witnesses described as a dark, 1990s-model, four-door sedan with oxidized paint on its roof.
