The driver of an 18-wheeler was uninjured after his tractor trailer became stuck on railroad tracks before being struck by a train Thursday morning.

The tractor trailer was hauling a load of wooden pallets northbound on Webster Road in Auburn when the driver attempted to travel over the crossing along Martin Luther King Drive.

The trailer became stuck, according to reports, and around 11:40 a.m. a train traveling west along the tracks collided with the vehicle.

The train hit the trailer, sparing the cab of the vehicle any significant damage.
