A 32-year-old township woman was seriously injured in a single-car crash early Wednesday morning, police said.

Dana Posey was found "heavily entrapped" in the driver's seat of a black Toyota Matrix, which was vertically pinned to a tree on Sussex Avenue near Bradford Court, Capt. Richard Ferrone said in a news release. Posey, the only person in the vehicle, was wearing her seat belt and the vehicle's airbag had deployed, Ferrone said.
